Club Des Belugas es el nombre artístico del alemán Maxim Illion. Él define su proyecto como nu-jazz lounge, y es evidente que esos dos elementos están presentes en su música, pero no bastan para definirla.

Sus álbumes se caracterizan por el predominio de ritmos downtempo, porque casi ninguno de los cortes incluidos tiene la pista como objetivo, pero los tres estilos predominantes son jazz, soul y electrónica, en ocasiones los tres en un mismo corte.

Swop es un álbum de 2008 que contiene temas tan deliciosos como este The road is lonesome.
