Elina Orkoneva es una cantante de 23 años procedente de Hämeenlinna (Finlandia). Antes de lanzarse como cantante en solitario, fue componente de varias bandas como The3ees, Local Voices y Sense. En sus canciones combina el pop moderno con influencias de la música popular americana de los años 50 y 60, y eso es lo que precisamente encontramos en su canción ‘He’s Not My Man’.
Elina trató de representar con esta canción a la televisión pública finlandesa en el último Festival de Eurovisión, pero no tuvo suerte. Aún así, la canción ha tenido éxito en Escandinavia gracias precisamente a los toques bailables y nostálgicos. Un tema diferente.
