"Does Your Mother Know". Mamma Mía.

Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, Anni-Frid Lyngstad, léase cual acrónimo ABBA, se convertirían en los 70 en el grupo de música pop y dance más vendido de la década. Y frente a las corrientes musicales anglosajonas de grupos que copan de forma regular los primeros puestos de las listas, eran dos matrimonios y venían de Suecia.

Sus canciones pegadizas han pasado a formar parte de la biblioteca musical de varias generaciones y son reconocidas mundialmente. Aunque el grupo se separara en 1982 tras las separación de ambos matrimonios, el 6 de abril de 1999 se estrenaría en Londres el musical Mamma mía! que recogía los mayores éxitos del grupo. Un musical que sigue triunfando casi catorce años después en todo el mundo. La película, con un reparto de excepción que encabezan Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, Julie Walters, Amanda Seyfred y Setella Skarsgard, llegaría en 2008 y se llevaría dos globos de oro y dos Bafta, y el reconocimiento general a su protagonista Meryl Streep.

Does your mother know, interpretada en la película por Christine Baranaski (Tanya) y Philip Michael (Pepper), fue originalmente publicada en 1979 como sencillo del álbum Voulez-Vous.
