Duran Duran es uno de los grupos británicos por excelencia; lo suyo fue el new wave y fueron los 80, aunque empezaron a finales de los 70 y suman ya más de 40 años de música.

Sus videos han dado siempre que hablar pero no por aspectos relacionados con controversia alguna -como ha sucedido tan a menudo con otros artistas como la misma Madonna- sino por cierta pátina glamourosa y fashion.

Ordinay World -tema publicado en 1992 en EEUU y un mes más tarde en UK y para el resto del mundo- supuso una inmejorable carta de presentación del grupo frente a las nuevas generaciones que los descubrían mientras otras los recordaban. El video -dirigido por Nick Egan- parece dar la razón a quienes los tildaban, a saber con qué intención, de grupo un tanto fashion porque así resulta al verlo… y nos encanta.

El tema, compuesto por Simon Le Bon, alcanzó la tercera posición en las listas americanas y la sexta en las británicas y fue, de facto, un volver al éxito para Duran Duran.
