Aquí está un interesante trío de rockabilly de Barcelona para darle continuidad y nuevos aires a aquello que empezó allá por los 50 y que mezclaba de forma mágica el blues y el country. Aquello que supuso un enorme y gigantesco cambio cultural, primero en los Estados Unidos y luego en todo el mundo. Aquello se llamaba rock and roll y sigue vivo y actual.

Matt & The Peabody Ducks conocen las raíces del estilo, del rock and roll, y han bebido de sus fuentes y adoran su imagen. Matt Olivera, voz, guitarra acústica y compositor, Legacaster, guitarra eléctrica, Daniel Nunes, bajo, ponen a disposición del grupo todo su talento en la instrumentación y en la recreación de unos sonidos primitivos por herencia y actuales por actitud. Acaban de lanzar digitalmente una canción “You can´t beat me”, tema extraído de su futuro disco, un Ep vinilo y edición digital descargable con cuatro canciones, estará disponible el próximo mes de abril de 2014 y será publicado por el sello Kathrina Records. Cabe destacar su arriesgada apuesta de grabar este disco, un acetato de rockabilly clásico sin la presencia de un batería. Interesante, muy interesante.
