Darin es uno de los cantantes más consolidados del pop sueco. Sus baladas se convierten rápidamente en éxito y, con una importante discografía detrás, a pesar de su juventud, algunos de sus temas son ya clásicos. Es el caso de ‘Why Does It Rain?’, un tema que lanzó en su segundo álbum, en 2005, y cuyo sonido recuerda al de Michael Jackson en la producción.

Con él llegó a número 1 en Suecia y el éxito fue tal que se animó a lanzar un segundo disco ese mismo año. Hoy sigue su carrera de cantautor, con temas que alternan también algunas melodías con mucho ritmo.
