The Show. Lenka. Vídeo, letra e información.

A Queen le gustaba el espectáculo, tanto que dedicó una de sus canciones a proclamar que debía continuar. Probablemente por la diversión, por esa sensación de ofrecer al otro una alternativa a una vida de rutinas. Y así el show, pasa a  convertirse en un deseo, que ya es un punto en común entre la banda británica y nuestra cantante australiana.  Just enjoy the show, dice ella, y como a nosotros nos encanta eso de disfrutar, press the play y nos sentamos a observar.

Vemos un banco, una flor, un trayecto en bus, una bicicleta, unas fotos que hablan, gente que baila, y ella que pasa de escenarios a base de saltos, con ritmo, y siempre con una sonrisa.

Y todo esto encapsulado en este The Show suyo, o lo que es lo mismo: la suma de su voz, su energía, la producción de Stuart Brawley, un genio en esto de dar ese je ne sais quoi  a un single, y la magia del stop motion del artista visual James Gulliver Hancock, hicieron que en 2009, el mundo de la música quisiera abrirle las puertas y concederle un espacio propio en esto del indie pop.
