Europe es una banda sueca de hard rock, fundada en la localidad de Upplands Väsby, Estocolmo en 1979 bajo el nombre de Force por el vocalista Joey Tempest y el guitarrista John Norum.

Europe logró la fama internacional en la década de los 80 con su tercer álbum The final Countdown en 1986 y particularmente con la canción del mismo nombre que supuso el primer single del álbum.
