Let Me In. Grouplove. Vídeo, letra e información.
Cancionón de los angelinos Grouplove para una película de amor entre adolescentes poco convencionales.
La joven actriz Shailene Woodley, conocida por su participación en películas como “Divergente” y en series de televisión, especialmente en “Vida Secreta De Una Adolescente”, junto a Ansel Elgort, que también trabajó en “Divergente” y en el remake de “Carrie”, son los encargados de dar vida a Hazel y Gus, dos adolescentes enfermos de cáncer que establecen una relación muy poco convencional basada en un libro, su autor y un viaje.
“The Fault In Our Stars”, en español “Bajo La Misma Estrella”, es una novela escrita por John Green, cuya adaptación al cine, dirigida por Josh Boone, se estrenará el próximo 6 de junio. Un dramón adolescente; amor y tragedia. ¡La de lágrimas que se van a derramar!
Afortunadamente y para hacer más digerible la píldora, el film lleva adherida una buena banda sonora con canciones inéditas de Ed Sheeran, Jake Bugg, Ray LaMontagne, M83, Lykke Li… Y también este fantástico tema de Grouplove, una formación que surgió en Los Ángeles, California, en el 2009, con dos cantantes, Hannah Hooper, que también toca teclados, y Christian Zucconi, que también toca guitarra, que son realmente extraordinarios. La banda se completa con un bajista y otro guitarrista que también hacen excelentes voces y un contundente batería.
Sólidos, brillantes y originales, alcanzaron en 2011 el Número 1 de las listas norteamericanas con su primer sencillo “Colours”. Desde entonces han publicado dos álbumes, un Ep y varios singles, todos con un personal sonido de indie rock con un matiz épico que en ocasiones se decanta hacia un indie pop orientado hacia las pistas de baile. Fuerza vocal, ritmos casi tribales, espectacularidad sonora. A veces apabullan. A veces ponen la piel de gallina. Como en esta canción “Let Me In”, en donde las voces son tan poderosas que sobrecogen. Apabullantes Grouplove.
